Um...I'd like to thank everyone who came to my party again. I had a lot of fun. It...meant a lot to me that you all came and had fun as well, so...thank you, very much.

[ A genuine smile, here, although her smiles are typically genuine, if sleepy. ]

...So, after the prom, we don't have to go back where we got picked up. So, who would like to go to Cianwood with me after...? I think it could be a fun thing to do...and that's where I have to go next. So, if you want to go...be sure to bring the things you'd need along to prom as well, okay? And we can...meet up at the end to go there as a group.

[ This is not actually directed solely at her classmates or worldmates, although she expects they are the most likely to want to tag along. ]

Also...I've been taking dancing lessons. Tsumiki-san as well. I think I'm doing okay...so, I'll be sure to dance a lot at the prom. I've never been to a dance before. It should be fun, right? [ As she enters the room, Nanami glances around, before coming to take a seat on Chihiro's bed as well, dropping her backpack on the floor. There's a series of beeps from her own gear, Galaga's acknowledgement of the music, as she sits down. ]

Hello....it's ok.

[Chihiro moves the pillow down a bit so he can talk, resting his chin on top of it. When Nanami sits, the Sewaddle stops playing with her silk for the moment and peers over curiously, tilting her head at the newcomer.

He's quiet for a moment or two as he looks anxiously around the room, his eyes settling on what looks like a set of clothes hanging against the closet, wrapped up securely after being pressed neatly, no doubt.

Then he sighs, shifting slightly.]

I, um....

Togami-kun took me to Celadon City....a few days ago.

[ Nanami absently holds out a hand to the Sewaddle, as a sort of greeting. She likes all Pokemon, and always has done. Her attention is on Chihiro only, though.

When he turns to look at something, though, she looks as well. Clothes in the closet.

...Though her expression changes to a mild pout at the words. ]

...Right. I know. The two of you went alone...

[Shiruku crawls over to Nanami's hand when she holds it out, letting out a soft chirp and nuzzling her face against her fingers. Hello friend.

Chihiro nods slightly.]

Mhm....he.....he had me a suit made. ...for prom.

[ Hello, friend. Nanami pets the Pokemon almost absently, but gently.

She thinks she sees the shape of things, now. ]

...And you're not sure if you want to wear it? If you don't, I think that's fine. ...It's okay to take things a step at a time.

[He had opened his mouth to explain, but lets it fall closed again when Nanami finishes what he was going to say for him. It does make things a whole lot easier, giving him a window to just nod in agreement instead of trying to awkwardly explain himself.]

[He's really unsure....especially because he's worried about what Togami might think if he doesn't wear it.]

Yes. You don't have to do everything all at once, even if you want to change a little...nothing happens all at once, ever, I don't think. So...you should do whatever parts you're comfortable with at whatever speed you're okay with.

[ She'd give the same advice to anyone, admittedly, because Nanami knows about going at her own pace.

[....Okay, he feels a little bad for it, but he has to stifle a giggle at that with the pillow.]

[He looks over at Shiruku out of the corner of his eye as he says this, who is reveling in the attention Nanami is giving her.]

But I...mm. ....I think I'm just.....worried that this means I'm not....getting any better.

[Not getting any stronger, anyway, if he keeps falling back into his old habits like this..]

...I don't think that's true. That...you're not getting better. Wanting to change is the first step. And...you let Togami-senpai make you a suit, and fit you for one that other time. It's okay to start wearing that sort of thing slowly, or just around the house.

[ After all, she's...aware of why he started to dress like a girl, although Chihiro hadn't told her about it. Alter Ego had. ]

Doing it at the big party might be asking a little much out of anyone. And...you should just go to have fun. I don't think that skipping to the boss fight without doing any of the level grinding beforehand is ever a good idea, anyway.

[Videogame metaphor and all. Getting those pants was a big enough step on it's own, and he hasn't even really started wearing those around the house much yet. It's definitely going to take some time, but....it's better now that his classmates know, anyway.]

[Hmm....while that is still a bit confusing to him, he thinks he understands. He's not sure how he feels about others he doesn't know "knowing" about him, but...well, it seems like it's not really something he can help right now. They must be keeping his secret, at least, so Chihiro is thankful for that.]

I understand... ....that's ok. ....As long as they are sure to keep my secret.....I don't mind that they know.

[Papa will have to meet these classmates of yours, Nanami.]

They won't tell anyone at all. ...Kuzuryuu-kun promised a bit dramatically, but he meant that he won't, and Hinata-kun is a thoughtful person who wouldn't do a thing like that. So...you can trust that both of them will keep that secret. And neither of them will think anything less of you for it.

[ At least, she's pretty sure neither of them will or had done. :|a Someday she should probably introduce them properly...

[Chihiro nods, moving the pillow back to it's former position on the bed. By now Isamu has completely passed out on the sheets with his feet in the air, and Shiruku has quietly returned to her silk stuck all over the window frame.]

I'm glad.

[By now it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of Chihiro's shoulders. Just talking about it seemed to help, and....well, Nanami seemed to know exactly what to say to help him. He would always be grateful for that.]

..Thank you for coming and talking with me, by the way.

...Hm? I'll always come and talk to you whenever you want. If you ever want to talk...all you have to do is ask, okay?

[ She will be more than happy to come and see you when that happens. Because, well. What else would she do? If Chihiro needs her, Nanami is there. Granted, she'd show up for any of her friends, as well, but...

[Of course he's not the type of person to hold that over her- and thank goodness he isn't- so he greatly appreciates the offer being there at all.

He's only known Nanami for as long as he's been here, and it already feels like she's been his friend for as long as he can remember. So he nods with a faint smile.]

Of course. For now...why don't we go out for ice cream, or something? Or do you want to stay here?

[ she figures ice cream will cheer him up EVEN FURTHER, though. ]

[Heck yeah, who doesn't like ice cream?

[ She'll stand from the bed, and hold out a hand to Chihiro. ]

[Chihiro gets up after, carefully taking her hand. He'll just leave his Pokemon in the room for the time being, since Shiruku seems to be pretty busy, and Isamu wouldn't wake up even if an earthquake hit at that very moment.]

[ Well, they can leave the pokemon behind to go and get ice cream then...Shiruku and Isamu snooze, they lose! ]
