[ The camera is shaking, mostly because Nanami can't seem to find an angle she wants. ...WELL, WHATEVER. It can just kinda be propped up on the coffee table in her room. There is an almost worrying amount of energy and soft drinks and candy around, for...some reason. Many of them are open. Apparently health got drop kicked out the window this month for...some reason...?

Look, maybe "staying awake" would have been better done by actually going to bed on time and eating healthy meals and that sort of thing, but apparently we just can't take that route so Nanami's going with "drink stuff that's supposed to wake you up and eat lots of sugar???? profit????????" She's apparently even got coffee, here.

And she's definitely not sleepy - she thinks? she may crash pretty soon because THIS WAS A STUPID PLAN - and Nanami's moving around more than she usually does and looks at least somewhat more alert. Sort...of. She looks distracted, too. ]

Yeah, that's it! We have to be careful so it doesn't get lost or break, since we do a lot of traveling and fighting, but they really get into that sort of thing...

I like those a lot, although sometimes virtual pet care can be hard if you have other games to play...what sort of Tamagotchi did you have? What was it shaped like?

Well it was sorta like a square, and it had a big mouth. I don't know what the official name is, sorry.

To be honest, I miss Fire and Thunder more. The game was sort of fun, I guess... But only because I had those two around to mess with it.

Games aren't fun if you're playing them alone, right?

Well- yeah. But I was mainly sorta of like their caretaker, y'know? They're still little kids. Mostly, they're my weapon partners! [Wait, he needs to explain this doesn't he?] Back where I'm from, there are people who can transform into weapons and you can use them if your souls are compatible. Fire and Thunder could transform into gauntlets.

...How does that work...? That sounds really cool.

I sucked at history, so you'd have to ask Maka about it, but basically there's just people in my world that can transform into weapons. Some of them just have a single form, like a scythe, but there are rare ones like my friend Tsubaki who know multiple forms.

But it only works if the meister and the weapon's souls balance each other right! If they don't- well. [He gives a snicker.] Two of my friends tried once, but because they were so off-balance, they ended up just hurting each other by the feedback instead! Black*Star couldn't even lift Soul up.

...That sounds super cool.

It is! It gets even cooler when you do Soul Resonance and you can do all sorts of stuff. When me and the twins resonate, I can use electricity and fire. My friend Maka, when she resonates with her scythe partner Soul, he basically gets a super upgrade and can cut through just about anything.
